The hunter is the easiest leveling class in World of Warcraft. They have the highest overall dps and their special abilities can also be very helpful during leveling your hunter. Due to their pet they can survive in the most dire situation while dealing insane amount of damage. So if you want to be level 80 as soon as possible you should choose the hunter! The WoW Hunter Leveling Guide provides a complete run-down on all hunter-related issues so you don’t miss out.

Hunter Introduction

WoW Hunters are good characters to use either solo or in groups. Hunters are unique because of their pets and their ability to deal damage from a distance, usually with rifle. Hunters can do well in melee as well, but they aren’t as skilled in that area as other classes (Warrior, Paladin, Rogue). A Hunter is better off letting his pet take on enemies while the Hunter chips away the health from afar.

Hunter Talent Build

While leveling a hunter one of our first priority is choosing our talents. Their talent trees are: Beast Mastery, Marksmanship and Survival. The Beast Mastery talent build is the ultimate hunter leveling tree so we will choose that. This tree will focus on improving your pet, so that you can send it in and burn the mob down with ease, and it can put out solid dps in instances as well. Here is the build:

10-14: Endurance Training – 5/5
15-16: Thick Hide 2/3
17-18: Focused Fire – 2/2
19-19: Thick Hide – 3/3
20-24: Unleashed Fury – 5/5
25-25: Aspect Mastery 1/1
26-30: Ferocity – 5/5
31-31: Intimidation – 1/1
32-33: Bestial Discipline – 2/2
34-34: Improved Mend Pet – 1/2
35-38: Frenzy – 4/5
39-39: Improved Mend Pet – 2/2
40-40: Bestial Wrath – 1/1
41-43: Ferocious Inspiration – 3/3
44-44: Pathfinding – 1/2
45-49: Serpents Swiftness – 5/5
50-50: The Beast Within – 1/1
51-51: Invigoration – 1/2
52-54: Longevity – 3/3
55-59: Kindred Spirits – 5/5

Now we go into the Marksman Tree.

60-64: Lethal Shots – 5/5
65-69: Mortal Shots – 5/5
70-71: Rapid Killing – 2/2
72-73: Go For the Throat – 2/2
74-76: Careful Aim – 3/3
77-79: Focused Aim – 3/3
80-80: Readiness – 1/1

Hunter Gears & Items

One point of agility equals an increase in attack power, critical chance, and dodge, making it essentially the wonder-stat for hunters in that it increases everything required at once. However, individual items possessing significant amounts of straight up +attack power or +critical rating are valued as well.

Agility – Your #1 stat over all else.

Stamina – Your pet is taking the mob’s attack, so you don’t need a lot of Stam. It is, however, more valuable if you’re on a PvP server

Intellect – Increases your mana pool, which is good, but is always #2 to Agility

Strength - You need Agility to use that bow of yours with the 200# pull, not strength. Strength has no value for you, unless you’re that rare Hunter who like to live dangerously and melee a lot. Even then, Agility is far more useful, as is Stam.

Spirit – of no use.

Crit rating – the more the merrier.

Attack Power - You can never have enough.

Hit rating – Focused Aim will provide all you need until you start to raid or PvP.

It is crucial to get items which are the most effective for hunter leveling. We want to deal as much damage as possible so we need to get as many agility items as possible. Agility will increase your attack power, your critical hit rating and your dodge rating. Agility, agility and more agility that is all you need.

Get your personal guide to what gear to wear and what it does for you: Need to decide between dual wield or a 2 handed melee weapon? Or are you just looking for a break-down on the items you should get at a specific level? Leaving no questions unanswered, the hunter guide addresses item issues with an eye for details.

Hunter Pet

If you have ever seen a truly gifted hunter fight you know that pets are more than mere damage dealers or meat shields. Some hunter’s don’t realize the science that is behind choosing the right pet in order to ensure the hunter is operating at max efficiency depending on the characters main focus and objectives in the game.

The best pet changes depending on level. You train your pets skills that are taught by catching other pets who have that skill and learning it yourself. If you’re out to learn about hunter pets to help you level quicker, you might also want to check out this Hunter Leveling Guide.

Unless you’ve leveled half a dozen toons to 80, you could probably use a guide that shows you the fastest questing routes. If you feel frustrated with the time it takes you to level, pair my leveling info with Dugi’s popular “Ultimate Leveling Guide“.

Joana is considered to be a master when it comes to leveling in World of Warcraft. In the early days of WoW, he was the first on six different servers to hit level 60. When Blizzard held a 1-50 leveling contest, Joana won that easily. And during the beta for Wrath of the Lich King, he leveled four characters to level 80. I can’t think of a better player to create a horde leveling guide.
Joana’s 1-80 horde leveling guide had been released before the Wrath of the Lich King was officially released. This is due to the release of the beta version that has been out for more than five months. Joana has been testing beta version of WoTLK so he had enough time to create the guide.

Joana’s guides are offered as in-game mods, as well as printable guides and online guides with clickable links, so you can choose what suits you best. It’s all included. He has also done a very good job of linking all the quests and a lot of mobs, NPCs, zones and other useful stuff. For more details, check out his site.

Features of Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide:

This guide can be used with any horde race and class (separate guides included for Death Knights, undead, tauren, orcs, trolls, blood elves).

It focuses on questing. Joana says that he does, “95% questing 5% grinding.” If you hate to quest and love to grind, then this guide probably isn’t for you.

Joana’s guide is only for Horde characters. Many guides out on the market have information for both factions, so for the same price you’re paying for half the information.

Detailed maps showing the path you should take and where you should be to complete each numbered step.

Full video showing you how to play each level, so you can watch Joana doing it in front of your eyes

Step by step detailed 1-70 + 70-80 Guide

Detailed In-Game Leveling Mod with Auto Waypoint Arrow

100+ HQ Videos showing how to level and do hard quests

Video clips from each leveling area

Images of hard to find objects

Detailed maps of every area

Great Guides for Death Knights

Lots of Speed leveling strategies

Guide of best grinding spots

100% Legal. You will NOT get banned

Free lifetime updates

There are a lot of positives about Joana’s Horde Leveling Guides. The guides are for newbies as well as experts in the game. So, if you are looking for something that is detailed and will get you through the levels in the quickest manner possible, there is a Joanas 1-80 horde leveling guide for you.

Including Swords v.s. Daggers, how to spec your talents and other tips.

Rogue is the single most powerful, and yet slightest of frame character in the World of Warcraft. Currently there are 8 classes that fit the Rogue perfectly, with two new ones on the way in the Cataclysm expansion. Rogues, like hunters, have a really easy time leveling; you could even say it’s in the class’s pixilated blood. Running through monsters like a meat-grinder and hitting with enough force to bash even warriors down, the Combat Rogue poses one of the greatest leveling threats of all.

The Early Levels

Getting started with a Rogue is pretty simple, like any other class. You’ll have one attack alongside your auto attack, and will slowly learn how the combo system works. Every special move or attack you use will give you some number of combo points. When you reach a certain amount, you can unleash those combo points for big damage numbers against the unfortunate target in your sights.

The key to a good Rogue is to figure out your combat mechanics early on. You’re going to have your sneaking abilities and Backstab pretty early, likely well before Level 10, so you’ll want to practice a lot with it before you start taking on higher level mobs. You’re not going to be able to “stun-lock” for a while yet, but for now, if you just focus your energies carefully, you can keep yourself alive a lot better than most other classes.

You don’t have to worry about mana either, so just load up on food and heal between each fight if necessary. Between Level 6 and 11, you’ll probably need to do this quite a bit. After that, the added DPS from the weapon your class quest reward provides, along with the boost from your Talent Points, is going to make leveling a whole lot easier. In terms of Talent Specs, it doesn’t really matter early on, but you’ll probably end up with a Combat build since it is best suited to high damage and survivability.

Gear and Weapons

Rogues are going to start out with daggers, but will very quickly gain access to the Dual Wield Specialization at Level 12 – 16. You should snag this one up quickly so that you can use two weapons with your character. Remember, slower weapons are better, so as soon as you can, get two swords instead of daggers and use them to boost your overall damage and attack rating. In terms of the rest of your gear, you’re always going to be wearing leather, so you don’t need to worry about upgrading at Level 40 or storing any gold for later.

The stats you need to be looking out for include Agility first and foremost. This is where your attack power comes from and will also help keep your defenses up. I like to toss in a nice dash of Stamina too, because you’re going to be practically standing on top of your enemies at all times. They’re going to hit you good and you don’t have a shield, so you need enough health to survive the onslaught when you can’t kill them quickly enough. Those are your two primary stats – the rest are pretty meaningless until you reach a high enough level that you can start loading up on things like Hit Rating, Crit Rating, and Attack Power.

To get the best out of your gear, load up on agility since it will be on pretty much all leather pieces. Then look for things like +critical and +attack power which can be found on higher level pieces.

Rogue Talent Specs

It doesn’t get any easier than speccing a Rogue for leveling, because truth be told, there are very few actual options here. For the most part, just load up on Combat specs until you reach Level 60 or so and then flesh it out with a few points from Assassination. I won’t go into other builds because, frankly, there’s no point.

As for the Combat build, here are some key things to remember. First up, you NEED that Dual Wield spec as early as possible, which is from Level 12 to 16. Secondly, you need to work on your improvement specs for Sinister Strike and Slice and Dice. That’s pure DPS right there, and trust me, it’s going to help you out immensely in the long run!

After that, you’ll work on speeding things up with Precision, Lightning Reflexes and Blade Flurry. From there, just follow the tree to 71 and make sure you have enough of everything to get the job done. This is an easy build and by the time you’re Level 20, you’ll be putting out enough DPS to take care of pretty much anyone in your path. Just be careful not to bite off more than you can chew!

The 1-80 Leveling Blast

As you probably know, there are thousands of quests in the World of Warcraft and a few zillion monsters to slay. Keeping track of all those quests, looking up the details and figuring out where to go and what to do can become a drag, at times.

To keep track of it all, and level quickly and easily, we’ve been using Zygor’s Guide. Zygor’s automates the whole leveling process, for any class. Not by playing the game for you, but by keeping track of everything, telling you where to go and what to do, and including all the info you need to complete each quest.

Pick your starting point and the guide automatically updates and advances as you complete quests, sets a waypoint arrow automatically, and includes the important quest info. You will probably never need to look at your quest log again, much less browse Thottbot. Hitting level 80 in well under 10 days (in game time) is easy and, if you’re fast and efficient, and playing a Rogue, you might be able to hit Zygor’s advertised time of 7 days.

So many people playing World of Warcraft, just can’t find a way to level any faster than what they have already achieved. Leveling can be done efficiently, and hassle free if you know what you are doing. In this article, some experience will be shared with you, which will enable you to have a better idea of leveling. Here are 10 simple tips on how you can faster level up your characters and its easy to implement right away.

Get to know your character and its class, what its skills are and how best to use them. There are forums galore on the net take a little time out to read through these, you can learn things like setting up macro’s which save you a lot of time casting spells.

Talents and the understanding of them should be at the top of your list. Understanding which ones to apply and when best to take them can make the difference between mediocre levelling speeds and phenomenal speeds.

Begin with quests that are nearest to you. There are many people who seem to do quests that are on another continent then do those that are surrounding you, if you are one of them, just change now.

When on a chain of quests or any quest for that matter don’t just resign yourself to them. Kill everything on your travels between the quests. You will be amazed at the amount of XP and loot you will gain just by tackling the mobs spread out over an area as well as your quests.

May sound a bit obvious but try every thing you can to stay alive. Having to run back to your corpse from a grave yard takes up precious time. If things are not going your way make a timely exit and then regroup yourself and retry.

Make sure that everytime you visit a city that you have no skills that require leveling up. If any can be levelled then do it whilst there to save on wasted time traveling.

Upgrade your characters equipment at least every 8 levels. Some people do it earlier but it can be a waste of both gold and time.

Don’t work on professions till you hit the maximum level. Professions are the most tedious and time consuming things you will ever need to do. Not only does it take up lots of time, it also drains a lot of your money. By ignoring your profession while leveling, you can easily add 3-10 hours to your leveling time. You can always concentrate on your profession once you have hit the maximum level.

Don’t PVP. Many of the times, those arenas or battlegrounds can be very attractive, the more you spend PVP, the more time you will be stuck at your level. So unless your objective is not to level up quickly, you had best stay away from battlegrounds!

Get a guide like Zygor Guides or at least one that is similar. World of Warcraft is a huge game with massive content and you can quite easily become lost with respect to what you need to do. A guide will enable you to focus in on exactly what you need to tackle.

Reaching the max level in WoW as quickly and as possible is the number on goal for most players. What is the best and fastest way to level my character? So, for practical purposes, we are left with grinding and questing. Grinding is the process of staying in a small area and killing mobs over and over again for experience and / or gold and loot.

I used to belive that grinding was faster than questing, and it can be under certain circumstances. If you’re leveling your first character, and you have no idea where to pick up quests, where to complete them and where to turn them in, then questing can be a frustrating experience. Additionally, once you find a quest giver, the quests might be too hard (red or orange color in your quest log) and almost impossible to solo, or too trivial (green or gray in the quest log) and reward only minor experience.

Yet I somehow thought questing could be faster, if you knew exactly what to do and didn’t have to look everything up all the time.

Then I found this Zygor leveling guide review and after getting the guide, my suspicions were confirmed. Questing is a LOT faster than grinding could ever be, if you know the secrets. Quests are a lot more fun than grinding or wandering. A WoW level guide gets you through with all questing; what could be more fun than that? Besides having more fun, you get better items, better XP, and more gold from questing rewards.

It’s important to note that the benefits of questing only apply if you know exactly what to do all the time, which is why I recommend quest-based leveling guides. They will speed up your leveling, whether you’re a beginner or advanced player.
